I think in one of my mogwai or mm cd's I got a catalogue with bands like firewater on it. One of the albums by a band called 'home' (i think) was described as built to spill doing dark side of the moon on the millenium new years eve. Does anyone know anything about this band/cd? L. Plagaris

i had the opposite experience with NMH... i went to see a band they opened for early last year and was blown away by their performance. they are the first band in the past six or seven years that caught me off guard. i hadn't even ever heard of them and now they're one of my top ten favorite bands

i dont knwo about neutral milk hotel..i had heard such good thing sabout htem so i went to see them play a while back..over the summer actually...and theyre not so great. i have the cd too, was ccurious to hear it..its ok too his voice is too eddie vederesque and the drums are never loud enough on
