just got back from elliott smith at the 9:30 club. reeeally good show.
they played some good music before and between bands...including "talking
shit about a pretty sunset." . just in case anyone cares...

Amy..if you love the dark satire comedy...you should definetly read the
book. Perhaps I'm comparing the book to the movie too much...but the book was
funnier and much more disusting in my eyes.

yeah, i saw the whole piebald/anniversary/hot rod circuit tour combo
(with fries) and i have to say that the anniversary was the downside
for me. the other two bands were entertaining and tight... i though
the anniversary were (was?) neither.

Yeah, Dirty Three are really under-rated. Their new album, "Whatever You
Love, You Are" is amazing, and I really don't expect to hear anything this
year as intensly beautiful as the third song, "I Offered It Up To The Moon +
The Night Sky". Check them out if you get a chance; I only have "Whatever

about the cover art. I think that, unlike a book, you can sometimes judge an album by
