Vintage Vinyl is a cool record store in St. Louis. I forgot what street it
was on. The Way Out club was pretty cool. Haven't been there in a few
years, though.

wondering if there is anything indie rock related there? Any record stores
anyone knows of? Shows coming up? Any help is appreciated.

I totally forgot about the Swirlies. I remember _They_Spent_Their_Wild...
being one of the best albums of that year (95 or 96?, it was a while back).

All I can say about Austin is it's the coolest place on earth. Right on
Zach with your WEEN defending. Both of these shows rocked more than any
show I've seen ever, except for maybe Joan Jett (Jeff City, MO) and Modest
Mouse (here in Austin), of course.

of the Showbox in Seattle. Weezer is playing there on the 23rd of July.

Both Modest Mouse and Mars Accelerator have been playing around Seattle for
years now (often together) so I guess its inevitable that there would be
some similarities. I don't think they sound too similar, but you can still
pick up on the parallels. I just thought it was odd when

dumbfounded fans waiting around outside tryin
