I've discovered the crypto.signText(sometext, "ask") procedure in javascript
v1.2 and was very pleased that I can sign html form data with the client
certificate.
This however works only in Netscape and I need the exact functionallity with

Just when I thought I had SSL working, I setup a form to be
processed through the cgi-bin. I added these lines to the SSL
Virtual host:
AddType application/x-httpd-cgi .cgi
