What causes this? Is there anything relatively painless that I can do
about it? I'm assuming this has something to do with mod_ssl's EAPI
modifications to Apache...

Yes. You can't "restart" or "graceful" with "startssl". That was
my problem... trying to &qu

I think there's a typo in your new "less entropy for the PRNG" FAQ
entry. It mentions a "SSLRandSeed" directive... but according to
the Reference, that should be SSLRandomSeed.
