Doug, Allen, and others, I don't have money to burn, far from it -- which is exactly why I don't worry about the value of my poster collection. I spend only what I can afford and what I feel a poster is worth to me *as a movie poster* (not as an investment) and therefore can enjoy it and keep it

I agree with JR. Buy what you like, enjoy what you buy. Its nice to get something that appreciates in value but never count on it. Collectibles markets go up and down. If you watch the antiques roadshow, you hear all the time 10 years ago this would have gone for such and such amount

Yes - It's great - I just got it this weekend at BestBuy for $5.00 (I had a discount coupon) but the sale price there is $9.99. It's labeled #01 of FOX FILM NOIR and they plan on putting a lot of them out too! It's interesting to note that LAURA was originally going to be part of the Fox Classic

Hope it's better than Fox Movie Channel. They run LAURA frequently with a print they salvaged from the drive-in. I get that from DirecTV. Ever wonder why their Fox's movie channel looks cheap? Channel 258 on DirecTV. Look like mpeg2 sometimes. Kirby On Mar 21, 2005, at 12:43 PM, Ralph Plumb

Hi Joe and all: I thought the picture was great on LAURA although the sound seemed a little muffled - the restored scene wasn't that great of quality - probably because it had been cut before release. Yes, I was really impressed with LEAVE HER TO HEAVEN too - but where are their other Technicolor
