[MOPO] Mailing 35MM trailers

Hi MOPO, I happened upon a box of 35MM trailers. Anyone know the accepted packaging and mailing method for these? I usually mail photos by insured Priority. The 9x12 flat rate mailers are 3.85, but wouldn't particularly protect a trailer reel. The flat rate boxes are $8! Anyone ever use
