Tom,
I think that's Great and can't wait to see the pic! Hopefully, it will also
inspire me to do some more framing for all those 3-Sheets I have. As for Dad,
well let him supervise. No heavy liftin'

Hi Saul:
Yes, I will eventually post a jpeg when I have one. My framer is so proud
of her work on framing this that she took pictures of the entire procedure.
Bond author and great friend Lee Pfeiffer (The Essential Bond) want's to
feature the poster on his magazine website "Cinema-Retro"
Given the choice between:
1) an opening of $9.99 with a reserve of $100
2) an opening bid of $100
I too would prefer option #2 -- in fact, I too avoid auctions which use option
#1.
If someone actually prefers bidding on auctions with reserves can you chime in?
thanks,
Evan

Hey Tom,
When you get it back home or if you already have a picture of it framed can you
send a link so that we can get a gander at it?
TIA

Did I ask you to give it away? Did I attack you? No --to both. Please read
what I wrote again and you will see that I don't like reserves. They waste
my time. I will bid after the reserve is hit because then I have a chance to
win. I still like you.

Tom,
That sounds very high. U-Haul is horrible as far as renting trucks. I used
them once and never again. I've had much better luck with Penske. I would
rent a large enough truck from Penske and do it myself with a friend. Go
online and get a price quote.

Claude did not make any sort of statement about the reserves being high or low.
In fact, his statement was pretty much the opposite he will not chase
reserves, thus he will not bid on a poster unless the reserve is already met.

My husband and I just recently listed a poster with a high reserve. It
didn't sell, but he wanted his money and the poster was worth it. He
relisted with the same high reserve (22,000) and he got it. I'm glad I told
him to stick to his guns.
You used to be nicer, Claude.

It's just outrageous that you would make such a statement. In fact, one of
my auctions reached the reserve 2 days ago, and the balance of the reserves are
quite low. If you expect me to give things away, for your dining pleasure,
you can forget that. Don't bid, it's fine with me. But there ar
I dont think that reserves are at all unusual. The major auctions routinely use
reserves and that doesnt seem to deter bidders. Why not MoviePosterBid? I do
have some items in the auction without reserves but I have no intention of
