I've never minded the fixed-end aspect of eBay auctions. People who
are mad that items got snatched away from them should have learned
to place high maximum bids or start doing their own sniping. After
the first time I had an item snatched away from me, I quickly learned

But they then go on to say that prices will be higher.

R and R Autograph Auctions uses time-extended auctions and works well. You
have to bid on an item before the regular end to the auction to be able to
