Hi Everyone,
One of our contacts has the following French lobby cards on sale. Prices start
at around $20 + shipping. Buy more than one set to get extra discount and save
on shipping.
Also available are thousands of other French and US lobby sets and even more
Belgian/French/US Intl. posters
Ya just might want fix your CNP error (cut-n-paste) on this lobby
card...as it states:
This original one sheet poster is linen-backed and in very good plus
condition. There is some minor damage to the linen backing on the left
border and minor touch-up to the fold lines.

Thanks for that, Peter. Just to clarify: Are you saying this set is likely from
the original release because the movie was later retitled The Vice Racket?
Bruce has a WC with that title on it from a later re-release. Obviously I would
be delighted if this turns out to be a rare original release
I also read this with mixed feelings, but believe it or not, this seller is
actually recommended on one of the movie poster forums.

Dave, I couldn't find any newspaper advertisements later than 1943, and the
'40s dates are very sporadic, suggesting a disorganized (roadshow)
re-release. The main release period where it's titled GWSs is from '36 to
'39, obviously corresponding to it's creation and first release.

Thanks, Peter. Much appreciated.

Hello all,
It's pretty slow around here today as all my movie poster customers are
sitting by their computers waiting for the Heritage Live to begin. Even if you
aren't bidding, it's just fun to watch it all live. I thought the little video
Grey did was pretty cool also. Anyway, happy day

Sue,
How can it be a slow day when you got to see Amberleigh? Visiting you today
could have cost me the Bride of Frankenstein insert (uh oh, it passed so
that won't work). Thanks for the great frames, and How to Undress for your
Husband looks so appropriate on my wall.

I am puzzled that at this juncture, touchstone pieces like one sheets for This
Gun for Hire; Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs; 2001; The Bride of Frankenstein
insert; and the Jumbo LC for Dracula were all passed. Any thoughts?
