Hey Evan! I agree- great new thread! And- a truly great poster (and I'm
speaking for the poster only here) that's well under $100 is the one sheet for
Future-Kill. Ok- I'm a little biased. But the poster was designed by the
surrealist H.R. Giger. A truly unique image!

I'm confused. What does any of this have to do with the battle of Rick and
Dave?

One of the best posters at this sort of price ($100 maybe a little more) is
the daybill, and I would say Godfather, Jaws, Empire Strikes Back (Green art),
Untouchables and quite a few others are very much overlooked.

Collecting by artists seems to be going out of fashion these days, except for
those Alamo Drafthouse posters which, personally, I don't care for at all.
We recently sold a NIGHT TRAIN TO MUNICH long daybill that was extremely nice.

Star Trek posters are cheap because "Trekkies" are the cheapest of

While it is increasingly hard to find for less than $100 (Heritage sold one
at less than $100 in July of 2009), I think highly of the Advance for
Unforgiven. The credits version is also worth having. The Toy Story Advance
and also the Disney Tarzan Advance are also undervalued in my opinion. The
Judgement at Nuremberg and would add The Manchurian Candidate
are two titles that prove no matter how important a film is, the
posters still aren't necessarily big money

Two that amaze me at their constant reasonableness are "The Miracle Worker" and
"Judgment at Nuremburg". I suppose the monochrome nature aren't doing them any
favors, but I think both are sublime art at stoopit cheap prices.

I think this is an extremely interesting thread.
We can all site those $1000 plus posters that have popularity and
rarity...however there are many posters below the $100 mark that are worth
owning...what would you mopoer's suggest?
I'd put things like Rocketeer, Batman Begins (Advance), Dark
One of the best parts of this hobby is that for every $1000 poster there are
hundreds of hidden gems for less than $100. Often these are lesser titles with
great stars, lesser images from great films, historic (or dated) titles have
