Sure, John at Poster Mountain screwed up. Having said that,
scrapping his authentication service is a huge mistake. His problem
is that he rolled it out too quickly. There were certain factors and
elements that he needed to incorporate which he clearly didn't...and
that led to the situati

For whatever it is worth (and for me it is worth a lot), Joe
Maddalena takes the topic (and sale) of fraudulent movie posters very
very seriously. When I contacted him regarding the Frankenstein

the other end of the phone.
Received this this morning:
It is absolutely true that I made an unfortunate mistake in my
determination of authenticity of the Dracula poster. This was an
honest mistake born of my ignorance of S2 reproductions and my lack

That is interesting. My Dracula Style F has the 36312 as well. My

I was thinking. Kerry Haggard is not really to blame. It's all the
greedy collectors and dealers who have driven up horror prices over
the years. It's those prices that forced Kerry Haggard to do what he

Clearly, there are villains here who decided to CREATE some very
valuable posters in order to line their pockets.
Having said that, let's not work overtime in order point the finger
of blame where it clearly does not belong. There auction houses that

To be perfectly clear, the auction house that sold me the
Frankenstein title card and Dracula window had absolutely no idea
that the items were fake. In fact, I do know that they had them
quickly checked out by a known restorer BEFORE the auction. That
