I had the «pleasure» of watching “Salo, 100 Days of Sodom” on the big screen.
Certain scenes have stayed with me for over 40 years. I guess you’d have to say
it’s a memorable movie.

Hi Channing
This is 100% not genuine in my view, probably secretarial rather than a forgery
made for profit. Marliyn’s autograph is usually far looser and illegible than
this, particularly by the time this photo was taken.

Have any early birds seen this exhibition yet? If so, what did you think of
it?
I'm interested because I've got the crazy idea of flying from Zurich to New
York to see it and a couple of other exhibitions.

Hi Joe and Ira, just wondering why you went for Bonhams rather than a more
recognised movie poster auction house like Heritage? Better terms I guess. If
this is too “delicate” a question just ignore it. Great material, but that goes
without saying! Best, Martin

With all that sunlight I hope the owner is just displaying copies or is keeping
the curtains shut during daylight hours. Rather defeats the purpose of having
great sea-views I know.
The reds in that fantastic Frankenstein poster will wash in no time with the
light levels shown in the photos.

Nice group of rare quads came up at a provincial auction house in the UK

The highest prices were for War Of The Worlds (£18,000), Forbidden Planet

marks to front £4,300). All of these amounts are before buyers pre

minimum standards of taste that should be respected in a group such as this.
It is quite alright to say in no uncertain terms that something should be
better, particularly if it relates to a commercial operation, but that

I like the fact that the prices are integrated - loose price lists that

Lady Stardust and Christiana F. (not strictly a Bowie film but a very cool

Congratulations on your new site.
The only thing that struck me from having had a quick look is that there are
