The first time I saw this 1945 Pinocchio re-release one-sheet many years
ago I thought it quite odd for two reasons.
First, it was from just five years after the initial release, and yet the
movie was re-titled to "Wonderful Adventures of Pinocchio", but what was

Obviously, the onesheet in itself is pretty boring, to say the least. However,
imagine both the one-sheet AND the three-sheet combined on display in front of
the cinema: Completely different story. To me, both posters in combination work

for the one-sheet featuring Jiminy Cricket was likely because "When You
Wish Upon a Star" had become a huge hit after the movie came out, and that
makes sense to me.
