The Little Foxes One sheet . posterart doesn't even resemble Bette Davis with a runner-up to the Other Company Jezebel One sheet in which Bette's dress is printed in yellow (the wrong color and a key scene in the film). Third runner-up goes to the African Queen One Sheet in which the graphic

Yep, I was thinking Big Sleep, and other WB Bogart red and black missed opportunities. Key Largo and To Have and To Have not, (with added blue!), also come to mind. Casablanca 1 sht also dire, and with Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Maltese Falcon, though more colourful, also rubbish.

Do you really believe that HAROLD MAUDE is a great film? I'm not sure it belongs in the top 1,000. If you're going to include films of that quality, then there would be many, many other valid candidates for relatively crappiest 1-sheet. CK MacLeod Collectibles at ckmac.com Kymar's on eBay

I'd say whether Harold and Maude qualifies, depends on how strict your definition of the term great. That's a great film or true cinematic greatness? What's the official list we're allowed to refer to? Cheers, Rich Visit the MoPo Mailing List Web Site at www.filmfan.com

K, CK, I'd say that at the very least, HAROLD AND MAUDE is a great cult fave so let me clarify as there is no need to get into an argument over what is 'great' or not. I really wanted to get everyone's take on how badly the studios or filmmakers can drop the ball on the Ad Art when the

I didn't think that I was alone on this one! According to AFI -- its #9 on the list of all time best Romantic Comedies. You can see the list at: http://www.afi.com/10top10/romanticcomedy.html Not that I, personally, believe in lists -- especially lists from AFI. But I like this film -- and I

Night of the Hunter I sht maybe not terrible, but terribly disappointing. Ok, the insert, 3 and 6 shts are an improvement, but I've had the insert of the walls for years, and familiarity is breeding contempt. I think it's it the opposite problem to the WB 1 sheets, too much colour. Though it
