Hey Morrie,
For your Laurel and Hardy Lot #141 it shows a Campaign Book to “Our Relations”
and states there are two books (“duo”) in the lot—are they duplicates? If
different, what is the second title? And do both have the poster images on the
verso?
Thank you,

Will there be a catalog in advance? There are some nice items but there are no
descriptions on the auction site. Just grades like B+.

Great to hear Morris! I’m probably a lesser minority of Cinevent’s target
audience simply because my interests are so focused (Kubrick). His films cover
such a tiny part of the history of film as opposed to the thousands of titles
that the majority of Cinevent participants deal in so I hope ever

now from the auction and am very pleased with the items I won. Look forward to
next year.

Hi Morris,
Just had a look at the results online and there do seem to be a lot of
posters passed. Don't you think that maybe the estimates and therefore the
reserves were a bit on the high side?

I was thinking the same, too, Tommy.
In looking at all the items, the LOWEST minimum reserve on ANY poster/
LC item was 100.00
This probably kept people away, who knew that certain items should
sell for even less than even that min. reserve amount.

As you know Cinevent has been postponed until next year.
hollywoodposterauction.com [1] was ALMOST ready to go with 410 lots,
360 lots of stills and 60 lots of posters. We may wait a year or we
may do it on
I *REALLY *wanted to go this year, but some personal issues (not poster
related!) came up and I just can't do it. :(
I sure hope I can next year! I used to go every year and I always found it
worthwhile, and the best part was getting to put "faces" to people I knew
