Does anybody know of a webite where students can create and publish short stories or anthologies? This was a project that our Reading Speciallist organized in the lower grades the past few years, but has become too time consuming. So we are looking for something that younger students can easily

Try using the Book Wizard at Scholastic (http://www.scholastic.com/teachers/ ) You can search by subject, genre, lexile, grade level, DRA, guided reading level... You can even search for books that are "like" another using "Book Alike." It's an excellent resource-they've leveled over 50,00 bo

I loved the Cobblestone publications.magazines on non fiction topics with articles running in 4 - 8 levels approximately. Cobblestone is American history. Faces is world cultures. Calliope is ancient civiilzations. Go to website and you can order from hundreds of back issues on specific top
