I've heard a lot about Daily 5 and plan to check into it this summer. Is it
appropriate for use in a 6th Grade Middle School Reading class (each class
period is 48 minutes and we meet daily)?

The Daily Five is a framework for reading instruction that is ideal for the
primary grades. BUT what I find most useful are the lessons which describe how
to teach students to use their time well...I have used a lot of it with my
fifth graders!
