Are you saying that you are able to use the basal for lit circles or
are you saying that you use lit circles in addition to the basal, and
could you give examples of how you do lit circles when you are forced
to use the basal?

I will try to explain how most of it use basals and lit groups. We have to
use the strategies that are included with the basal. We do not have to use
the stories in the basal. We are required to give the weekly and unit test
with each unit, so we have do incorporate them into our lit groups. I
