I got out for a while this AM. Birds were reasonably active but not vocal. The house wrens that had been so vocal (3 weeks ago) were there but silent. Also new to the Dunes this year was the American redstart. They were vocalizing. A large flock of cedar waxwings - must have included several

Jen Vieth and I went down to Spring Lake Park to check to see if any thing was around tonight and we were able to spot a Prothonotary and Wilson's warbler mixed in with some other warblers we were unsure of. They were located at the archery location at the end of the trail that brings you to
