The Cinnamon Teal was seen today at approx 7AM in the field south of the
dairy farm and north in the flooded cornfield. The sun was at my back by
the flooded cornfield and

John Hockema and I watched a singing GRSP at the Great River Industrial Park
near Randolph. This is my first April record for this species. Also had both
meadowlarks singing very close to each other. At Lake Byllesby we found a
single Baird's Sandpiper and one American Golden-Plover.

The Cinnamon Teal was still present as of 9:30 a.m. today (Monday April
19th). Thanks to Bob Eckert for helping me find the bird. Located on Salem
Avenue, 1.5 miles south of highway 212 on the west side of the road. The
teal was present fly between both sides (north south) of the farmhouse at

Forest Strnad and I tried for the Cinnamon Teal in Carver County this evening
between 5:10 and 6:20 PM. We gave it a good hour of searching with scopes at
both wet areas north and south of the farmhouse. We also checked out the wet
area further south on the east side of the road
Donn Mattsson and I saw the cinammon teal today (Monday) after a long time
searching . At around 5:00 tonight we located him at the end of the small
stream which flows along the left side of the first field to the north of
the farmhouse. We had originally seen a few ducks back in there on
