Spent three nights camping at Finland State Forest campgorund and exploring the state parks. 6-27 through 6-30. 40 species of birds, 8 warblers. Most notably I heard a sandhill crane on the morning of 6-28 east of my camp. It sounded like it was on the ground as opposed to flying by. I

Today three species of birds all had their chicks fledge from their birdhouse today. Great-crested Flycatcher fledged 6 or 7 chicks (this is the 4th year of using the same box) Tree Swallows 3 young House Wren.. 2 young the yard is going to be alot quieter! regards Don Kienholz
