I would just like to say that I am thankful to have respectful friends like

Hi everyone,
I have mapped out the locations and dates of the 5 Ross's Gull reports so
far. Thought people might be interested in seeing the distribution so far.
Seems to me that more Ross's Gulls might be found if local birders search
every reservoir or lake between Lincoln, NE and Denver, CO.
This afternoon I found an adult Iceland Gull at the Kaposia Landing in South
St. Paul. As I left it was on a sheet of ice heading downriver.
One other note: I had first tried viewing the river from the pedestrian
overpass at Grand and Hardman Ave., but found the access trail up to the
I sent a photo but the email was rejected because it contained a jpeg
attachment? I have previously sent similar emails to you which were accepted.
Has something changed? How do I send the photo?

Folks who are interested in the Ross's Gull, today he was visible most of
the afternoon. Hundreds of birders from all over the country have been to
Yankton. SD to see the pink beauty. See the newspaper article at:

While gull watching in Duluth today, I encountered a bewildering number of
Iceland and Thayer’s Gulls: no fewer than 33 different individual Iceland and
Thayer's Gulls were seen! This total includes 23 Thayer's Gulls (7 adults, 3
third-cycles, 3 second-cycles, and 10 first-cycles), at least 8
