I just received a report of a bald eagle in Yellow Medicine County that is
albino or leucistic. It may have some color on the under part of the tail.
The bird was seen riding the thermals on March 24 by two reliable sources
from Cottonwood, MN.

Probably nothing like what's going on in southwestern/western Minnesota right
now, but today there are a lot of swans, geese and ducks migrating thru Brown
county. The area where they are showing up is along the Little Cottonwood
river south and west of Sleepy Eye. I found the most birds
