Heavily marked young Snowy Owl at MSP airport at 5:10 pm today, January
5th. It sat
on a short pole a little over 100 meters past the (southeast) end of the
UPS parking lot on Cargo road for 12 minutes. Then flew off to the
southwest, low to the ground, and I lost track of it in the dark.

Yesterday a co-worker had some pictures of a presumed Ross's Goose on the water
with a big group of swans near Royalton. Didn't appear to be a snow goose, but
I am unsure of how you would differentiate if it was a hybrid, but it sticks
out pretty good in the pictures.
