2012-01-23 Thread Betsy Beneke
I flushed a flock of 25-30 common redpolls from the roadside this morning, they started out in Benton County and then flew south over the Sherburne County line, and than back north into Benton again.  They were feeding on weed seeds right beside the road.   CR 59 in Sherburne turns into CR 49

Correction on my previous posting. The Varied Thrush is in Blue Earth County. I am sure it would be just as happy in Nicollet County, but it is not there. Al Batt Sent from my iPad Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives:

Re: [mou-net] Western Tanager in the Twin Cities, not refound

I did not find the Western Tanager. It was around 2:15pm and I was there for about 25 minutes. There was fresh snow and the only footprints in the yard were mine. Curt Rawn - Original Message - From: Anthony Hertzel axhert...@gmail.com To: MOU-NET@LISTS.UMN.EDU Sent: Saturday,
