Lots of Lesser Scaup (roughly 20), about 5 Hooded Mergansers, about 10 "Bluebills", 1 red tailed hawk (juv) that actually buzzed the ducks, 1 pied billed grebe, 3 wood ducks, 10 shovelers, as well as a large number of mallards and Canada Geese. Finally: 3 Swamp sparrows. Thomas P. Malone Atto

Went for a walk on my lunch at Crosby Park. No migrants of note-lake is still ice covered, and the backwaters seem to only have Mallards and Canada Geese. On my way back to work saw my FOY Hooded Meganser on a small pond behind the Lilydale town offices. Pond is spring-fed, so it is ice-free alm
