Hi I was out about nine am to the Coon Rapids dam when I saw all the ducks scattered. I looked around expecting to see a bald eagle but instead my photos revealed that I had a golden eagle. When I got home I sent my photo to Scott Mehus at the National Eagle center and he confirmed that it

I took a drive along the Mississippi from Elk River to Champlin along the Great River Road. I saw approximately 150 Trumpeter Swans some at most stops along the way. I saw a few Bald Eagles, one was on a nest in the middle of a probable Heron Rookery in Otsego. I also saw what looked like a group
