Hi all,
A friend of mine texted me last night around 7pm saying that he saw a Snowy
Owl along I-35W. He was north of the Broadway Avenue exit, but that is all
the information I have at this time.
Yesterday my boyfriend and I spent much of the day in northeastern MN. We
saw 4 Great Gray Owls

We were also able to get the two lifers that we specifically targeted for this
trip: Boreal Owl (Sat, North Shore) and Hoary Redpoll (Sun, Sax-Zim). The

I would like to report still having a large amount of winter birds on the
resort
grounds with some days the birds being exceptionally active. This report is

yesterday morning Saturday the 16th after we had a beautiful thick cotton-like
frost on the trees. This especially drew the evening
Went on my bi-weekly quest for my Douglas County Red Crossbill and
Evening Grosbeak and struck out once again. Had 30 species for the day
however, including a Snowy Owl. I flushed him inadvertantly and he flew
south over I-94 and landed on the 6th power pole from the freeway from a
