I will be heading to Duluth on Friday in search of the Boreal Owl. I
have not seen any reports from Stoney Point recently. Has anyone seen
them around this area lately?

Two boreal owls found dead have been turned in to Sherburne NWR. One from the
town of Ogilvie and the other from Princeton. It appears their irruption has
occurred fairly far south of their normal range.
