Found a STGR perched on a fence on the E side of CR 66, 150 yds S of 210 ST.
Was able to drive up and observe @ 15 yards for several minutes before it flew

Early this morning in Dakota County at the Great Western Industrial Park just

Took my wife out earlier today to see about finding the Eared Grebe listed on
this group.
Walked up path behind main building along river to first open area for viewing
river on left.

I spent five hours at the dam. It won't be long before the walkway will be
closed for two years on April 15th. I saw many species. On the Coon Rapids
side I saw an immature bald eagle in a tree with a red tailed hawk. Then I saw

Randy and I led a trip up to Crex Meadows today. Temperatures in the 30's

I had a woodcock peenting and performing flight displays above my pasture

Stopped by Lake Byllesby and Randolph industrial park late Sunday
afternoon. Randolph industrial park was quiet with the exception of both
meadowlarks singing and a couple of Killdeer on the wing.
