When I came home from work tonight, I flushed several mourning doves from the
road going through my housing development. When I got to the turn near my
house, I looked up to the top of a tree, and there sat a Eurasian
Collared-Dove. I didn't stop, so I wouldn't flush it, so drove down the bloc

On Sunday, August 25th, I will be leading a MRVAC sponsored field trip to
the Cannon River bottoms near Red Wing. We will meet at 8am at the trail
head off of Collischan Road. All local MRVAC field trips are free and open
to the public. No registration or notice to me is required. Just show
up.
