Vermillion in Dakota Co. (Hogan and 180th St E). Photographs and an account

I also viewed the Northern Hawk Owl on Sunday, January 12 at the same location
in Hutchinson. I observed it diving for a mouse or vole under the snow and
eating it in a nearby tree. It was quite a thrill and great to see that it is
catching food.

I located a heavily-barred juvenile Snowy Owl in Maple Grove around mid-day
today, Monday January 13. This is likely the same owl reported by others in
this area recently.
Location: Intersection of Kirkwood Lane N and 82nd Avenue N.

Saturday Jan. 11. One was at the refinery and the other at the airport. One
was clearly tagged #92. I was looking for anyone with info on this bird, or
