North of Highway 10 east and west of Armstrong Blvd.
I actually got to take one of my clients today to see the one on the east
side.
It was on top of a light pole at the eastern most end of Coburn's (even seen
from Highway 10).

This is the response to the press release by the Minneapolis Roberts
Bird Sanctuary in Peril folks.
I wouldn't mind seeing the actual maps and plans. As a birder I know it
is one thing to hear a bird described,
much better to actually see the bird.

To answer your question, yes, the MPRB manages the Roberts Bird Sanctuary.
The Met Council has responsibility for the sewer line, which needs
maintenance and unfortunately runs through the sanctuary. The Council has
been negotiating the construction plan with the Park Board, who have

As of today Minnesota has now 217 Snowy Owl reports and locations. I will
be sorting through all these reports and put them counties as far as how
many been reported in each county in the near future.

Here is more info on Snowy Owl sightings in Sibley County:
at the intersection of County Roads 8 and 17, there is a little set of
buildings called Rush River.
A Snowy was seen 1/2 mile west or so on 8 at 4:00 today(Tuesday), and
yesterday(Monday) and it's within
two miles of(where it was seen
