Following up on Ken Vail's Snowy Owl reports today I saw a Taiga race
Merlin feeding in the field east of 130th between 690th and 700th. This is
the area south of Claremont.

The Merlin that was seen at Butler and Smith, on Wednesday, March 12th was
relocated at Butler and Carrie, today at 16:20, Monday March 17th, 2014.
It is swaying in the breeze, 5/6th of the way up in a tree in the back yard of
277 Butler.

There is currently a Great Black-backed Gull among the Herring Gulls at the
rock island out from Knife River. Earlier there was a flock of 20 Long-tailed
Ducks as well, but that number has been reduced to two. I also saw a flock of
about 15 Long-tailed Ducks on the lake by Betty's Pies.
