So far this morning the King Rail has not been seen. I'll update again if it's
found, but at this point it looks like it has left.

known to have nested in the state.

We found a pair of Western Kingbirds in the same area they have been seen
in other years in Ramsey in Anoka Co. Take Taprock St off of 10/169 and
pull into the empty lot on the right. Male was seen by large Ash tree next
to the highway west of siren.

There was a good variety of open-country birds along the northern section of
the Prairie Loop Trail, in the northern part of Afton State Park, this morning,
