A few days ago someone inquired about Woodcock programs and the Houston
Co. Nature Center will be doing a program on the evening of Saturday,
April 25th at 7:30. Participants should meet at the Nature Center in

Large flock of Greater - white Fronted and two Ross's Geese still present
at 180th. Huge flocks of waterfowl present along with some Greater
Yellowlegs and a flock of 25 Brewer's Blackbirds.

One of the things I enjoy the most about birds is that the potential is always
there to see/experience something new. Even when dealing with a very familiar
species.
Out doing my Greater Prairie Chicken census this morning, I was checking a
booming ground that is on the edge of some water, this

After stopping briefly in Rosemount where we saw four kestrels, two of them by
the power pant where they nested last year my wife and i got down to the 180th
street marsh around ten a.m. this morning. We saw a pied billed grebe in the
south west pool but nothing else then on the north west
