A possible Bullock's Oriole first showed up at my feeder around 6:00 p.m. I got
some mediocre pictures of it with my cell phone at the time. It reappeared at
7:35 p.m. and I was ready for it this time. Mike Oetken came over and was able
to get some good pictures of it with his Canon camera. I l

My Mother has this thing that she does: she saves the head-hair which
she (gradually) loses as she brushes it, and hangs it out on limbs
around the feeders for nesting birds to glean.

First of year Great Crested Flycatcher made its first of year appearance -
making the rounds with other birds near our feeders. Also in the group: Rose
Breasted Grossbeaks (3), Baltimore Orioles (3) and Ruby Throated Hummingbirds
(2).
