I was down to Crosby Farm Park last night, and spotted a lone Solitary
Sandpiper in the pond that is drying up near the parking lot. I submitted this
to the MOU sightings database.
According to my birding app, these Sandpipers are normally further nor
Tony Hertzel just found a Black Rail at the 180th St. marsh in Dakota
County. He saw it running briefly along the south side of the road and into
the vegetation on the west side of the flooded area just before where the
water goes over the road.
