water's edge (fairly close to the road) and toward the channel to the east.
We didn't have any luck finding Craig's Alder Flycatcher south of the
Whitewater WMA headquarters building in Winona County.

where there was a second Western Kingbird.
The birds are along the road on the south side of the airport (turn west off
of highway 71 south of town). They were in front of a residence just a
short distance east of where CR2 goes south.
Thanks Doug!

side of the road) and east of the gas station (which is on the north side of

I was able to refind the Snowy Owl previously reported by the Thimgan's on the

(0.5 mi S of Hwy 54).

Chuck Krulas and I refound the bird around 11:15am today. It was hanging around
the huge flock of mergansers and goldeneye much further south - south of the
DNR buildings and the sportsman's club. The closest viewing was from the side
of hwy 61 where it swings east and then south again. There we
Chuck Krulas redound the owl about a mile west of 24 just off of 3. You need to
go south on a driveway toward a large tan building next to a trailer house to
view the bird - I think the house number is 5932. The bird was on the ground
very close to the yard by the trailer house
