Has anyone been down to Brownsville to check out the Swan migration?
Any reports would be appreciated!

r was moving around in the box!
Good sign!
So, we'll see how it goes. They have had good results with
Hummingbirds in the past. If all goes well, I will be able to release
her back here at my home.

.
I am cautiously optimistic that she will make it. The next few days
will tell the tale.

While birding in Forest Hills Cemetery in Owatonna yesterday
afternoon, my wife Leanne found an adult male Summer Tanager. She
took a number of photographs of the bird.
I tried to refind the bird about an hour later, but could not relocate it.

birds were spread out in about a 2 mile area
just south of Waseca Cty Road 7.
She also observed quite a large number of tree swallows farther on
Cty Road 7 heading east doing the same thing. It was quite an amazing sight!
