Just spotted a female Harlequin Duck in front of Blue Fin Bay Resort on Lake
Superior. It flew off following the shoreline to the southwest.

Spotted a N Shrike just north of Aitkin along HWY 169/210. It was between mile
marker 156 and 157. Seemed to be on the hunt. FOS for me.

I see I was named as the finder of these birds. I must confess though that I
too was given a tip. I just helped to pass on the information. What a great
opportunity to see these birds and so easy to get to. I hope many of you got
to see them.
