My mistake. Lutsen Resort is in Cook County. Trying to relocate the bird now.
It was in view for about five minutes on the lake side of the main resort
building and then disappeared as it flew up the hill towards the highway.

A molting adult at Castle Danger sewage ponds now. Also Stilt and Semi
sandpipers, Semi Plover, and multiple Lesser Yellowlegs swimming
phalarope-like.

individual is the result of molt and does not suggest prior captivity. The
chances this being an escape are small compared to the high likelihood of
natural vagrancy, which has already occurred here and in several other states.

Flew off at 7:17pm and now not visible. Was still by marker 36 by the picnic
table and quite visible in snags on and near the large cottonwood where Bruce
Fall first reported it Wednesday. Sorry forgot to sign my last post.

mi south of Waubun. Le Conte's Sparrows also here.

species in about an hour, with 17 of these on the bay side of Park Point
between 13th and 15th streets. Other observers who were out this weekend can
probably provide more details about the fallout.
