I had my Field Biology class from Anoka-Ramsey Community College out to Carlos
Avery WMA this morning. We saw 64 sandhill cranes in one group in a sedge
meadow.

A large flock of Sandhill Cranes came into the Carlos Avery area this

I heard sandhill cranes in flight, Grant Township, Washington County, around 8
p.m. tonight (4/17). I was at north end of Ideal Av. They may have been heading

I got a call from back home in Long Prairie to tell me that the Sandhill
Cranes that nest in our swamp arrived today. This is one of the earliest
