This afternoon a female cerulean warbler joined a small mixed flock of
warblers attracted to our water feature near Dorset. Great views! I
believe this is the first I've seen in the state, let alone Hubbard
County. The water is a real attraction during this hot drought.

At Cannon River Wilderness East, in the Dundas/Northfield area, the
original stair access from the parking lot has been freed of fallen trees

This morning, David Adair and I got good looks at a singing CERULEAN

My dad and I are currently listening to and seeing a: male Cerulean Warbler, at
Woodlake Nature Center, Richfield, Hennepin Co, Mn.
It is singing above the Irene Dahl outdoor education shelter on the east side

We relocated the previously mentioned Cerulean Warbler at trail marker 19 in
Murphy Hanrahan, singing gregariously. He swooped down to take a look and got a
good but brief look at him. This is a fairly long, hilly, muddy walk from the
parking area.

This morning Randy Frederickson and I went searching for Cerulean Warblers in
Kandiyohi County. One of our stops was at Sibley State Park where we followed
up on an eBird report of a Cerulean on 5-28-14 by Alex Watson. We had no
specific location, so we stopped at the park office and they

A cerulean warbler was singing and foraging in a cottonwood here (Stillwater
area) this morning.
There is a notable dearth of tree swallows and phoebes here this year.
Anecdotal evidence suggests the phoebe scarcity is a continuing effect of last
year's April and May
A singing male Cerulean Warbler was seen today along the Historic Old Indian
Trail at Tamarac NWR. The entrance to this trail is located along Becker

Hi
My friend Travis apparently saw this Cerulean on a Facebook page so we have
them to thank for telling us where to find this bird. We saw the Cerulean at
Westwood Hills Nature Center in St. Louis Park this evening. We had no luck
for the first hour then someone named Tony pointed us in the
At 8:45 this morning I saw the Cerulean right where Roger
described. It is at Garvin Co. Park, Lower Campground, in
the trees behind the campground host's site, mid-level in
the canopy.

The song I heard I believe to be a Cerulean Warbler. I heard it again
late morning in the Lower Campground of Garvin Park near the Host Cap
site up high in the trees. Didn't see it, but have ruled out other
helpful suggestions such as Towhee, goldfinch, and Redstart. The song

There is variety in warbler song, then there is Sherburne's Cerulean.
Not sure who he learned to sing from, but it was not a close relative.
Some days I'm certain that it is the Cerulean singing, other days I scratch my
head as he throws in portions of other warblers. Today is the latter.

Since both species are so localized, I thought I'd mention I a Lark Sparrow and
a Cerulean Warbler, both in Sibley County Sunday afternoon, June 6. Both were
in the eastern half of the county. The Lark Sparrow was in the road of 276th,

Hello,
I saw a very loud, very cooperative Cerulean Warbler this morning
