At 8:30 a.m. today (Saturday, July 18), I briefly observed a Carolina Wren in
South Minneapolis, after first hearing the bird singing and calling. The
initial sighting was made across Park Terrace from the southeast edge of Seven
Ovals Park. The wren was perched briefly on top of a chain link

Fairfax sewage ponds for the past half hour (first seen at 10:30 AM). A
few Least Sandpipers and Yellowlegs are also present. Just before arriving

My friend Travis and I went to Randolph park today in hopes of seeing the
Dicksissel and what ever else was there. Well we saw a Dicksissel and a Savanna
Sparrow and a Clay Colored Sparrow. We heard a Western Meadowlark but could
never quite see him. We also saw a few horned larks but
