compiling mozilla with jobserver

2001-03-05 Thread Jon Leven
hi, Are there any special switches I need to pass to configure to allow for parallel make? I am compiling on Linux, using make -j 4, and I consistently get errors... here's an example. /bin/sh: Linux2.2.14_x86_PTH_DBG.OBJ/_pl_bld.h: No such file or directory gmake[4]: *** [Linux2.2.14_x86_PTH_DB

Here's a better description. Does parallel make work for mozilla on Linux? I used the configurator script tool at http://webtools.mozilla.org/build/config.cgi, and added the following to ~/.mozconfig: mk_add_options MOZ_MAKE_FLAGS=-j4 ac_add_options --disable-debug ac_add_options --enable-idltoo

MOZILLA-ICON.PNG - could someone please send to me?

2001-03-05 Thread Flacco
Could someone please send me this icon? In Linux, it's placed here by default: /usr/share/pixmaps/mozilla-icon.png It's in the 0.7xx releases but not the later ones. I'd DL and install 0.7, but it conflicts with my nightlky copies of mozilla, so I'm hoping someone could just send it to me.

Interesting. I was not aware that Mozilla/NS6 were complete rewrites. Beginning with which version? Also, I have avoided d/l and install of NS6 because (a) our company's corporate standard is IE5.01 and (b) of the many problems I have seen with it in the various newsletters I subscribe to. Any id

A suspected caching bug in NN6/Moz0.8

2001-03-05 Thread root
This seems like such an obvious problem that I suspect I must have something wrong in my set up so I am hesitant to report a bug to bugzilla. Can anyone else confirm this problem exists? Javascript files are not cached by NN6/Moz0.8 - all other file types (apart from a few random image files)

Thanks. I'll d/l it and try it on my home machine. What's this about 'nightlies' I see here? Are there new builds released every day? If so, why aren't they called 'dailies'? And how bleeding edge must one be to install each new nightly as it comes out? After all, you know how they recognize pione
