I don't know whether to comment on this one or not. But my
understanding is that Darwin does not support 32 bit PIC relocations.
The *only* way to fix the problem is to delete all the assembly files
which use PIC code, or rewrite them in the very peculiar Darwin way (I
couldn't follow the docs). O
Yes, definitely do that. From another email I see Antony is waiting
for that. And I think it is a good first step. Maybe we wont do that
as a final solution. But who knows. It might work well for us. Let's
try it and see. :-)

Yeah Git doesn't track empty dirs. We can put gmp-mparam files in them
if we want git to track them.
