The changes that Brian has made to the GMP-ECM repository brought me very close to a full compile with MPIR-2.7.0-alpha5. However, I still had to make two small changes to get it to compile successfully for me. Those changes were only needed in the GMP-ECM sources, so I will bring that issue u

Hi David, sorry for the long delay in replying to this. There are some differences between the GMP and MPIR fft, and there are some defines which are needed to make things work. Brian Gladman has sorted this out in the version of GMP-ECM he makes available for Windows. Here are the defines: #defi

Hi all, After fixing a serious bug in the division code brought to light by the MPFR test suite, I have uploaded alpha5 to our website (http://mpir.org) ready for testing. I'll hopefully finish our internal testing soon and we can begin the beta release cycle for MPIR 2.7.0. Hopefully MPIR 2.8.0
