Canoeing and kayaking are also great but a plain old tube puts you right in

Keith,
It seems that there is a lot of anger and hostility behind your statements. You have got options. Push the city to make changes in how they issue grants and tax you. Granted this will be tough in a DFL city, but if you don't try nothing will happen, and even if you do try nothing may hap

Hi,
I work downtown and have to say I'm getting pretty
tired of the lack of places to throw one's trash.
After eating lunch outside today, I had to walk 6
blocks to find a garbage can to toss a darn apple
core!
Now I know this issue is more complicated than it
should be, with money for trash cle
My only experience with Café Bicko is driving by it, so I cant comment
on whether or not this particular restaurant should or shouldnt be
granted a new liquor license, but Kris Mussers post exemplifies some
NIMBYism that I dont want to go unchecked.

To clarify my earlier post, I did not mean to imply that the Mpls Police are
useless. Over the years I have had several positive experiences with them
too. One thing I will say about Minneapolis police force: they have been
unfailingly polite to me (a middle aged white person), unlike the St. P
I have to relate another positive experience of the MPD related to one
of these "petty" crimes. A few months back, I stupidly left my wallet
at the cashier's counter at a local Minneapolis Target store. When I
realized later that I may have left it at Target, I called them and they

This subject always reminds me of the tale, "The Pied Piper of Hamlin".

Hello All,
Just got back from a 4 day trip and - WOW - a lot of commentary on
Parks, Buildings, and City Council. I have been dismayed at City
Council's recent actions. Their unilateral actions are hardly what I
would call working together for the betterment of the city! This
